The astruchin come from one of the kater dimensions. Their goal is the eventual subjugation and colonization of the entire multiverse. Astruchin are completely dependant on their hives, as they do not have individual brains, but share a single brain located in the hive. These hives are actually constructed from their eggs, which are hatched and replaced as new hive members are needed. Astruchin are somewhat metamorphic, able to change any limb to serve any function, including a head. While they are bent on conquest, astruchin are not cruel. They are not malicious, and take only what they feel they need. They are also completely truthful, being completely unaccustomed to subterfuge and duplicity.
